This is a new financial law in Switzerland aims to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>define a code of conduct for the provision of financial services and financial instruments,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>create fair competition conditions amongst financial services providers,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>as well as to enhance protection for investors.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image wp-image-10567 size-full\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"640\" height=\"320\" src=\"https:\/\/eskills.ch\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/kontakt-finma-bern.png\" alt=\"Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority FINMA\" class=\"wp-image-10567\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Swiss Financial Market Supervisory Authority FINMA in Bern<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p>The FinSA\/LSFin has significant impact on financial services providers\u2019 duties relating to the offer of financial services and the distribution of financial instruments to their clients. In particular, financial services providers are now obliged to:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Segment their clients into three categories: private, professional or institutional categories.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Know their risk profile<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Apply the appropriate code of conduct<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Now more than ever, understanding the FinSA\/LSFin is a key element of compliance for any Swiss bank or Swiss financial services provider.<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Our E-Learning programme<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We responded quickly to the demands and changes of the financial regulatory landscape. In 2020, eSkills worked with CoFaktory, one of the best regulatory experts in Switzerland to design an e-learning programme specially catered to helping financial services providers navigate the new rules and regulations of the FinSA\/LSFin.<\/p>\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\n<figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/eskills.ch\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/02\/Screenshot-2021-09-13-at-10.16.59-1024x576.png\" alt=\"LSFin\/ FINSA e-learning\" class=\"wp-image-10537\"\/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n<p>This training is aimed at client advisors of Swiss financial institutions and client advisors of foreign institutions, who are serving clients in Switzerland.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Our course covers a comprehensive list of subjects, including:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Classify customers<\/strong> according to the main principles of FinSA\/ LSFin<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Distinguish the <strong>principles and objectives of&nbsp;FinSA\/ <\/strong><strong>LSFin <\/strong><strong>classification.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Apply&nbsp;the rules of behavior<\/strong>&nbsp;in the provision of financial services to clients.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Know and comply with&nbsp;the <strong>\u201cBest Execution\u201d rules and FinSA<\/strong><strong>\/LSFin<\/strong><strong> organizational rules.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Validate their skills through&nbsp;a <strong>certification test.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Course Feature: Interactive Case Studies<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nobody likes sitting through a boring e-learning course just with tons of text and legal jargon!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>That is why we spent tremendous effort in designing well-thought out case studies, each detailing realistic scenarios potentially faced by financial services professionals in their course of work.
