Mobile learning

As its name suggests, mobile learning or m-Learning is a form of learning on the go.

The modules are designed to be completed on a smartphone, tablet or laptop when the learner is away from the office, mobile first.

WHAT IS IT AND HOW TO USE IT?

Mobile learning is often contrasted with e-Learning, as they meet very different needs and configurations.
The mobile learning modules are designed to be short, punchy, fun and each screen carries only one piece of information.
An e-Learning module is instead usually taken at the office and goes into greater depth.

BUT WHAT ELSE?

E-Learning is therefore better suited to theoretical content that requires greater involvement on the part of the learner, whereas mobile learning is more of an information base that can be drawn on as and when required.

Mobile learning often complements e-Learning or face-to-face training, as it can be used to emphasise important points, keep in touch with learners in the field or serve as a daily reminder.
